Exciting Times at Limerick County Golf Club!!! A massive injection of €1.6 million to celebrate the course's tenth anniversary, saw changes to all but 2 golf holes. "The changes incorporate a lot of variety-it will be friendly but challenging. Water is set to become more integrated into the course - my motto is if there is water there, use it." commented Ronan Brannigan, Irish Golf Course Architect.
"The investment in the course and the major improvemnts in the overall presentation of our greens and fairways is part of our plan to make Limerick County Golf Club one of the premier courses in the Shannon Region. Our members and visitors through the 2008 season have given the improvements their overwhelming endorsement according to Secretary Manager Gerry McKeon.
| "Already 10 years old Limerick County Golf Club has completed a major remodelling under the guidance of the Brannigan Design Team. Commendable greenkeeping practices by the ground staff under Lahinchman, John McMahon are bound to please members and visitors. The greens were rolling beautifully on the the day of my visit, and I am pleased to say they were the best surfaces that I have putted on this summer...
